PURPOSE: To consider approval of minutes, bid opening lists, items submitted by the Superintendent, School Board Members, School Board Attorney, and other pertinent matters. This Regular Meeting conducted by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is provided in accordance with Section 1001.372, Florida Statutes and is being held in accordance with Governor DeSantis Executive Order 20-69 Suspending Certain Statutory Public Meeting Requirements. An agenda will be available no later than at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 31, 2020. The agenda can be viewed by accessing the website www.dadeschools.net under the tab Board Information. The public may view or read the Closed Captioning of the Regular School Board Meeting which can be found by accessing http://www.dadeschools.net/schoolboard/index.asp and clicking on the Web Simulcast icon on the bottom right of the page. A citizen wishing to comment on an Agenda item may submit their comments in writing via-email of up to 250 words to the email address Agendacomments@dadeschools.net or may call 305-731-2377 and provide your comments through the dedicated School Board of Miami-Dade County, Fl public comment voicemail. The written comments will be read and the two (2) minute messages will be played during the virtual School Board meeting. All submissions must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, so that your comments can be read or played into the record and addressed by The School Board under the specific agenda item.

Please be sure to state your name in the message as NO anonymous comments will be accepted. Additionally, comments containing vulgar or inappropriate language will not be played. DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS MEETING IS 4:30 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2020. After that time, comments will only be accepted in writing by email at Agendacomments@dadeschools.net.. and may be heard at The Boards discretion. All public comments timely received as stated will be attached to the meeting minutes.
