the summary version by mail by calling the Department of

The complete agenda may be reviewed by visiting the Citizen
Information Center in room 158 of the School Board Administration
Building, 1450 N.E. 2nd Avenue, weekdays between 8:00 am
and 4:30 pm. Telephone 305-995-1128.
The agenda for regular meetings is published on the Wednesday
prior to the Board meeting. The summary agenda will normally

The
Superintendent of Schools has called a Special Board Meeting
for the purpose of recommending an Employee Benefits Program
for 2003. A copy of the agenda will be available after 1:00
p.m., September 18, 2002, at the Citizen Information Center,
Room 158, 1450 N.E. Second Avenue. For further information,

A CITIZEN WISHING TO SPEAK TO THE AGENDA ITEM should
submit a written
request to the Superintendent of Schools, 1450
N.E. Second Avenue, Room 912, Miami, Florida 33132, by
noon, TUESDAY, September
24, 2002. A person wishing to appeal the decision made
by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, with
respect to the matter considered at this meeting should
ensure the preparation of a verbatim record of the proceedings,
including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal
is to be based.

List (revised) / Supplemental List will generally
be posted on Tuesday PM or Wednesday AM prior to the meeting.
The
School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks
public input and participation. However, the public
purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly
or disrupt the meeting. Accordingly, the Chair may
order the removal from any School Board meeting of
any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly
process of the meeting provided the Chair has first
issued a warning that continued interference with
the orderly processes of the meeting will result in
removal. §230.173, Fla. Stat.
