PURPOSE: To establish a process for selection of Chief Auditor. This Special Meeting conducted by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is provided in accordance with Section 1001.372, Florida Statutes. There may be discussion by the Board on other matters such as Finance and other programs. An agenda will be available at 1:00 p.m., on April 10, 2009. A citizen wishing to speak to the agenda should submit a written request to the Superintendent of Schools, Room 158, 1450 N.E. Second Avenue, Miami, Florida 33132, by noon on Monday, April 13, 2009. The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks public input and participation. However, the public purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly or disrupt the meeting. Accordingly, the Chair may order the removal from any School Board meeting of any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly process of the meeting provided the Chair has first issued a warning that continued interference with the orderly processes of the meeting will result in removal. Any law enforcement authority or a sergeant-at-arms designated by Chair shall remove any person ordered removed pursuant to this section §1001.372 (3), Fla.Stat. |

SCHOOL DISTRICT
ACTION PROPOSED BY MS. PERLA TABARES HANTMAN: That The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, take action to commence the adoption of a screening process for the selection of a new Chief Auditor, including, but not limited to, seeking input on said process from the School Board's Audit Committee, and what other action the Board deems appropriate.
