PURPOSE:To discuss the Superintendent's recommendations regarding the proposed Interlocal Agreement with the Village of Key Biscayne. This Special Meeting conducted by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is provided in accordance with Section 1001.372, Florida Statutes. An agenda will be available at 10:00 a.m., on July 9, 2012. A citizen wishing to speak to the agenda should submit a written request to the Superintendent of Schools, Room 158, 1450 N. E. Second Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33132, by noon on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. For further information, telephone Citizen Information Center at 305-995-1128.

The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks public input and participation. However, the public purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly or disrupt the meeting. Accordingly, the Chair may order the removal from any School Board meeting of any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly process of the meeting provided the Chair has first issued a warning that continued interference with the orderly processes of the meeting will result in removal. Any law enforcement authority or a sergeant-at-arms designated by Chair shall remove any person ordered removed pursuant to this section §1001.372 (3), Fla.Stat.

SP-1 CONFIRM FINAL RECOMMENDATION FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS RELATING TO AGENDA ITEM F-7 APPROVED BY THE BOARD ON JUNE 13, 2012 AUTHORIZING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE

RECOMMENDED: That The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, confirm final recommendation from the Superintendent of Schools relating to Agenda item F-7 approved by the Board on June 13, 2012 authorizing an Interlocal Agreement with the Village of Key Biscayne.
