The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks public input and participation.  However, the public purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly or disrupt the meeting.  Accordingly, the Chair may order the removal from any School Board meeting of any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly process of the meeting provided the Chair has first issued a warning that continued interference with the orderly processes of the meeting will result in removal.  Any law enforcement authority or a sergeant-at-arms designated by Chair shall remove any person ordered removed pursuant to this section  §1001.372 (3), Fla.Stat.

ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION

March 30, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the School Board Administration Building, 1450 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33132, the School Board will have an attorney-client session to discuss the following pending case: Archimedean Academy Inc., and City of Aventura v. School Board of Miami-Dade County; Consolidated Case Nos.: 3D20-1913 & 3D20-1854; L.T. No. 19-30739 (Circuit Court Case No.: 2019-030739-CA-01; Former Case No.: 2020-006112- CA-01). The open segment of the meeting and the attorney-client session will take place in Conference Room 726. The persons attending the attorney-client session are School Board Members, Ms. Perla Tabares Hantman, Chair, Dr. Steve Gallon III, Vice-Chair, Ms. Lucia Baez-Geller, Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, Ms. Christi Fraga, Ms. Mari Tere Rojas, Dr. Lubby Navarro, Dr. Marta Perez, and Ms. Luisa Santos; Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jose L. Dotres; attorneys representing the School Board, Mr. Walter J. Harvey, School Board Attorney, and attorneys Mr. Luis M. Garcia, Mr. Henry Suarez, Ms. Mary Lawson, Mr. Robert Gang, Mr. Frank Sanchez, and Mr. Jay Yagoda. It is anticipated that this meeting will take approximately one and a half (1½) hours. This meeting and the attorney-client session will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of section 286.011, Fla. Stat.
