PURPOSE: To discuss matters related to compliance with the Florida Department of Education’s requirements to adopt instructional materials. This Special Meeting conducted by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is provided in accordance with Section 1001.372, Florida Statutes. There may be action by the Board on other items such as Personnel, Finance, and other programs. A copy of the agenda will be available no later than 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2022. A person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting (hearing) should ensure the preparation of a verbatim record of the proceedings, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Under extraordinary circumstances, the Board may approve an individual Board member’s request to access, participate in, and to vote at this meeting utilizing communications media technology.
