The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks public input and participation. However, the public purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly or disrupt the meeting. Accordingly, the Chair may order the removal from any School Board meeting of any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly process of the meeting provided the Chair has first issued a warning that continued interference with the orderly processes of the meeting will result in removal. Any law enforcement authority or a sergeant-at-arms designated by Chair shall remove any person ordered removed pursuant to this section §1001.372 (3), Fla.Stat.

ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION
May 22, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the School Board Administration Building, 1450 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33132, the School Board will have an attorney-client session to discuss the following pending case: Renaissance Charter School, Inc., The Downtown Miami Charter School, Inc., and The Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. v. The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, Circuit Court Case No.: 2024-003316-CA-01. The open segment of the meeting and the attorney-client session will take place in Conference Room 726. The persons attending the attorney-client session are School Board Members, Ms. Mari Tere Rojas, Chair, Ms. Monica Colucci, Vice-Chair, Mr. Roberto J. Alonso, Ms. Lucia Baez-Geller, Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, Ms. Mary Blanco, Mr. Danny Espino, Dr. Steve Gallon III, and Ms. Luisa Santos; Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jose L. Dotres; attorneys representing the School Board, Mr. Walter J. Harvey, General Counsel, and attorneys Mr. Luis M. Garcia, Mr. Henry Suarez, Mr. Robert C. Gang, Mr. Robert S. Galbo, and Mr. Frank Sanchez. It is anticipated that this meeting will take approximately one (1) hour. This meeting and the attorney-client session will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of section 286.011, Fla. Stat.
