103,496 A-3 AUTHORIZED The implementation of the District’s first commuter school at Ada Merritt Elementary School, contingent upon approved funding.

103,497 A-4 AUTHORIZED The initiation of rulemaking proceedings, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, to promulgate new Board Rule 6Gx13-3F-1.023, Contractor Debarment Procedures.

103,498 A-5 AUTHORIZED* The Superintendent to pursue the conveyance to the Board of a 20-acre site located on the west side of N.W. 107th Avenue and south of N.W. 89th Street, for construction of a 2,000-student capacity senior high school (State School “FFF”), as delineated in the Official Agenda; to pursue the purchase of up to an additional six acres within Section 7, Township 53 South, Range 40 East, from Century at $125,000/acre or appraised value, whichever is less, for off-site storm water retention; and report back to the Board at its December 11, 2002 meeting with the results of aforementioned actions, for final action on the proposed site conveyance and related agreement.

103,537 E-2 AUTHORIZED The execution of a covenant running with the land, in favor of Miami-Dade County, to provide a storm water management system for Lamar Louise Curry Middle School.

103,538 E-3 AGREED To recommend to Miami-Dade County, approval of the exemption of Educational Facilities Impact Fees for the City of Hialeah, in connection with a proposed affordable housing project for the elderly at 59 West 5 Street.
